Well if you’re so impressed why don’t you make an Instagram of all the car photos you’re going to take with it!

It’s a decent amount of bang for the buck.

How do you like the car?

That is the real question here!

Please tell me more. I’ve been eyeing them for the inevitable retirement of the Acclaim.

It’s a fabulous long distance cruiser. Lots of features designed to make your drive more relaxing. Even the N/A V6, which this is, has more than enough power. I dunno if it can compete with an Acclaim but it’s a nice car - if there’s anything specific you wanna know I will do my best to answer!

Power delivery? Fuel economy? Hows it feel inside? Smooth/quiet? Any issues?

I’ve been eyeing the K900 or an Equus in V8 form, but do you think the V6 is plenty of power?

Idk.......Oppo review?

Power delivery is good. It’s 311 horsepower and around 300 lbs/ft of torque, and it feels smooth and plenty strong, even when you punch it at highway speed. Obviously the V8 would be even more so, and in one of the bigger cars like the Equus or K900 I’d especially opt for the V8 (keep in mind that earlier Equii have the less powerful 4.6 V8, while later ones have the 5.0 that you can get in this). Fuel economy is decent, figure 28-30 on the highway and 18-20 in town. Interior fit and finish is outstanding, everything feels nice except for a little piece of trim on top of the shifter, which could be addressable. It is very, very smooth and quiet, and long road trips in it are very relaxing no matter which seat you sit in. Overall it feels every inch a luxury car, albeit not sporty at all. Only issue we’ve ever had was some circuit issue a few months ago that caused electronics problems. It was an extremely cheap and easy fix once they diagnosed and found it but it took an INSANE amount of time for them to do so and. Like, a month. It’s a 4 year old car with 50k miles, so I’ll let you decide if that’s within the realm of ok, but since we bought it new and it’s still under full warranty, all that meant was a month of driving a very entertaining G70 3.3T Sport. Overall, I love it, my dad loves it, and most crucially (unless he decides to switch to an EV), he plans to make a V8 G80 or G90 his next purchase as well.

I dunno if I’ll ever do an Oppo review, tomorrow will mark 1 year with my Jetta and I really should do a review of that. But between all the structural and cultural shifts Oppo has had over hte last few years, I just don’t feel like taking the time to write long, though-out posts is worth it anymore.

Thank you for this.

I will most definitely keep them in my sights, it sounds like exactly what I’m looking for.
